Thirsty Thursday Ale started as a fun idea between three college friends at Plymouth State University in 2021. They wanted a beer that was cheap, easy to drink, and perfect for Thursday night parties. After some trial and error and a lot of taste testing, they came up with Thirsty Thursday Ale a light and slightly fruity pale ale that pairs perfectly with pizza and pong. It quickly became a hit at frat houses and dorm rooms, and before they knew it, they were selling out of their first batches at local stores.

Now, Thirsty Thursday Ale  focuses on making beers for college students and young adults. They produce about 30,000 barrels a year and sell in over 15 states. In 2023, the company earned about $3 million in sales, with their main customers being college students who just want something affordable and fun. Most of their success comes from word of mouth and social media, where they run giveaways and post memes about college life.
